Why Encrypticle

One founder, one thesis, a growing platform.

Every good learning platform started as one person seeing a gap and choosing to fill it themselves rather than wait for someone else. This is that story — where we started, where we are, and where we're headed.

The thesis

Why we started.

Three problems the Indian security education market hasn't solved. Encrypticle exists to solve them.

Access

Free content in Hinglish shouldn't be a rare exception. It should be the default. Not everyone learns best in dense American English — and pretending otherwise leaves half the country out.

Practice

Watching videos isn't learning security. You learn by breaking things. Every Encrypticle offering — free or paid — pushes toward hands-on work with real programs, real reports, real payouts.

Signal

Certifications from paid education platforms are worth exactly what employers think they are. Ours are verifiable, cohort-based, and issued only when students actually finish. Recruiters can trust them.

Right now

What we're doing.

Running V2 live

15 students, 30 days, currently on module 7 of 10. Live sessions on Discord, recordings + notes + Q&A on the platform, watermarked video streaming.

Shipping Starter Kit PDF

Bug Bounty Starter Kit at ₹99 — first non-cohort revenue product. Watermarks every download with the buyer's name + order number so redistribution costs the leaker their reputation.

Prepping V3 for September

Ethical Hacking cohort — 60-day AppSec Engineer track. Curriculum being reviewed, cohort platform being tightened up based on V2 feedback.

Publishing free content weekly

Long-form YouTube tutorials, Instagram reels, GitHub open templates. Every free upload directly funds and supports the paid programs — and vice versa.

Our progress

How we got here.

From a single YouTube upload to a full learning platform in under 18 months. Every milestone is a real milestone — no vanity metrics.

Mid 2025

The problem hit home

Jagdeep was 2 years into security work and kept getting DMs from Indian juniors asking how to break in. Free content existed but was scattered, US-centric, and rarely from someone doing the work.

Late 2025

YouTube channel launched

@encrypticle went live with the first Hinglish-first walkthrough. No content calendar, no funnel — just answering the questions coming through the DMs, one video at a time.

June 2026

Beta Batch (V1)

The first cohort — 10+ students, no platform, run out of Discord + Google Meet. Two paid students submitted their first real HackerOne findings during the cohort. Proof it works.

Jul 2026Now

Bug Bounty Pro V2 — live now

Second cohort, 15 students, 30 days. First run on the proper Encrypticle platform — LMS with progress tracking, watermarked video, notes and Q&A per lesson, and verifiable certificates on completion.

Aug 2026Now

Bug Bounty Starter Kit

First paid PDF product ships — the 25 vulnerabilities you'll actually encounter in year one, ₹99, per-buyer watermarked. Low-friction on-ramp for anyone not ready for a full cohort.

Sep 2026Upcoming

Ethical Hacking V3 — 60 days

First long-form cohort. AppSec Engineer track — 10 modules, capstone project, live for 60 days. Targeted at students preparing for their first security role.

Q4 2026Upcoming

Self-paced course library

Recorded cohort content packaged as buy-anytime, complete-on-your-schedule courses. Burp fundamentals, VDR writing, cert prep tracks (CEH, PWPA, APIsec).

Q4 2026Upcoming

1-on-1 mentorship bookings

Direct time with Jagdeep via Cal.com. Career reviews, cert plan reviews, portfolio walkthroughs. Priced at practitioner rates — not bootcamp rates.

2027Upcoming

Advanced tracks

DevSecOps, Cloud Security, Active Directory Red Team. Deeper specialization for practitioners who've done the fundamentals.

By the numbers

Small numbers we're proud of.

We're not trying to be the largest platform in the market. We're trying to be the one where students actually finish and land the work they came for.

Our aim

Where we're headed.

The default choice for Indian security beginners

When a CS student decides they want to break into security, the answer should be Encrypticle before it's anything else. Not because we're the loudest, but because we're the most useful.

Full-stack security curriculum in Hinglish

Bug bounty, AppSec, red team, DevSecOps, cloud security — every offensive specialization taught by someone actively doing it. Delivered in Hinglish. This is what doesn't exist today.

A community, not a customer base

Alumni Discord, VDR reviews, career reviews, hiring signals. We want students who finished V2 to be the people helping V4 students figure things out. Compounding, not extractive.
