Terms of Service

Welcome to Encrypticle. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Encrypticle platform, including our website, cohorts, courses, downloads, and related services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Encrypticle ("Encrypticle," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, purchasing a product, or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian's consent.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• One active session at a time. Signing in on a new device automatically signs you out of the previous device. Sessions are limited to a maximum of 48 hours before requiring re-authentication.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration (name, email, phone) and to keep it up to date.
• One person, one account. Sharing accounts, credentials, or session cookies with any other person is a material violation of these Terms.

All Services content — including but not limited to videos, slide decks, PDFs, code samples, walkthroughs, cohort recordings, written materials, images, and branding — is owned by Encrypticle or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws under Indian law (including the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Information Technology Act, 2000) and international treaties.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and view the content you have purchased, solely for your personal, non-commercial educational use.

This license does not grant you any right to:

• Download, copy, screen-record, screen-capture, or otherwise reproduce content
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works
• Redistribute, publish, republish, or upload content to any third-party service
• Rent, lease, sell, or sublicense content, including for-profit or non-profit distribution
• Circumvent, bypass, or attempt to disable any security or anti-piracy measures
• Use content to train, fine-tune, or benchmark any machine learning system

You acknowledge and agree that all video and PDF content delivered through the Services contains identifying watermarks — both visible and hidden — that uniquely link each stream or download to your account. These watermarks include, but are not limited to, your registered email address, an account identifier, and playback timestamps.

Additional protections in place include:

• Digital Rights Management (DRM) on video content, preventing unauthorized capture in most environments
• Time-limited signed URLs that expire after each viewing session
• Per-viewer watermarks that persist through screen recordings and re-encodings
• Playback fingerprinting and access logging for the purpose of investigating suspected unauthorized redistribution

If content bearing your account's watermark is discovered on any third-party platform, torrent site, file-sharing service, or private group, you will be presumed responsible for that redistribution.

You agree that you will not:

• Share your account with any other person
• Redistribute, resell, or make available any Encrypticle content to third parties
• Upload content to YouTube, Telegram, Google Drive folders, torrent sites, learning marketplaces, or any other platform accessible to non-purchasers
• Remove, tamper with, or attempt to obscure any watermark or identifier
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the platform, the video player, DRM, or any anti-piracy mechanism
• Use the Services or any content for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law, including but not limited to unauthorized penetration testing, unauthorized access to computer systems, or any activity that would violate the Information Technology Act, 2000

Educational content on offensive security techniques is provided strictly for defensive research, authorized penetration testing, and lawful bug bounty program participation. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of any technique demonstrated is lawful and authorized.

If we believe, in our reasonable judgment, that you have violated these Terms — including but not limited to unauthorized redistribution of watermarked content — we may, without prior notice, and without limiting any other remedy available to us:

• Immediately suspend or permanently terminate your account
• Revoke access to any purchased content, including active cohort enrollments
• Withhold refunds for any remaining paid access
• Pursue all available legal remedies, including but not limited to statutory damages under the Copyright Act, 1957, injunctive relief, and recovery of legal costs
• Report the matter to relevant law enforcement, hosting providers, employers, and professional communities
• Publish the identity of confirmed redistributors on our platform

• All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) or United States Dollars (USD).
• Payments are processed through Razorpay. By making a purchase, you also agree to Razorpay's terms.
• Cohorts: Refunds are available within 7 days of the cohort's start date, provided you have attended fewer than 25% of the sessions and downloaded fewer than 50% of the materials.
• Self-paced courses and PDFs: Due to the digital nature and instant delivery of these products, all sales are final and non-refundable after download or access.
• Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback without first contacting our support team is a violation of these Terms and results in immediate account termination.
• All prices include applicable GST for Indian customers.

• Live cohort sessions are conducted on the scheduled dates announced at the time of purchase.
• Recordings and materials remain accessible on the platform for six (6) months after the last day of the cohort, unless otherwise specified.
• Self-paced courses and standalone PDFs remain accessible for the lifetime of your account.
• We reserve the right to remove, replace, or update content at any time to reflect corrections, improvements, or licensor changes.

Certificates issued by Encrypticle are proof of course completion and are not government-issued or accredited qualifications. They are verifiable via our public verification page. We reserve the right to revoke any certificate found to have been obtained through violation of these Terms.

The Services rely on third-party providers including but not limited to Cloudflare, Bunny.net, Razorpay, ZeptoMail, and MSG91. We are not responsible for outages, data handling, or other issues arising from those providers, though we make reasonable efforts to select reputable partners.

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Encrypticle content is educational. Nothing in the Services constitutes legal, financial, or professional cybersecurity advice for any specific situation. You are responsible for verifying legality and safety before applying any technique.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Encrypticle's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

In no event shall Encrypticle be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

You agree to indemnify and hold Encrypticle harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or an in-platform notice at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
